Eileen O'Connell is a licensed Physical Therapist who is devoted to the study and implementation of therapy that encompasses the mind, body and spirit. She graduated from Temple University in1990, Magna Cum Laude.

 

Since that time she has practiced in a wide variety of settings securing a strong fund of knowledge in both traditional and non-traditional approaches to rehabilitation.

 

She began practicing and studying yoga in 1999, training and working with a Medical Doctor, using yoga to facilitate the healing process with people with a variety of medical diagnoses including Fibromayagia and other chronic pain syndromes, neurological impairments (MS, Stroke, Brain injury,Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, autism, ADD/ADHD) Orthopedic (arthritis, joint replacements, surgical repairs).

She has also studied the Pilates Method through Polestar and Physicalmind.

 

Eileen has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitionerâ„¢ since 2005.

 

Her treatment approach is an eclectic blend of Pilates, yoga, and The Feldenkrais Method focusing on treating the person as a whole versus an isolated bodypart. She has treated all ages from preschool through adolescence through well seasoned seniors.
